An Earth quake happened of Port Villa in Vanuatu, it was 7.5 on the Richter scale. The ground shook here yesterday afternoon, but we did not feel a thing as we were on the yacht. A small tsunami also happened further south. News has it that a few buildings were damaged in Port Villa, glad we had left there. Apparently this often happens with small tremors. Wind seems to have dropped a little but chucking with rain, Jonathan checking out of immigration now and hope to leave around lunch time after we have been to the market. I won't be able to send anymore photos until we reach Mackay, but can still send blogs through via the irridium on the yacht. ![]() Children following us to church ![]() Donald sounding church 'gong' ![]() Gabbie wearing her 'Mother Hubbard' dress given to her by the island chief's wife to wear to church ![]() Boys greeting us as we anchor off Voa Island ![]() Boys crowding around the yacht ![]() Fresh fruit and veg for sale |
