Frustrating is the only word for it, with no asymmetric, a light wind and
long rain showers and a big, heavy sloppy sea, we have slowed down. We have
used tactics to come futher south and then with the predicted strong (25-30
knot) NE winds we would be reaching across, these have not happened yet.
Meanwhile Gigi a 56' Oyster has gained on us; she is keeping radio silence
so we have no idea of how many engine hours she has used, with luck far more
than us. We have not seen any yachts overnight despite all begining to
converge as we near St. Lucia. Jonathan has written down our estimated
predictions on our ETA, I have predicted 20.00 hours on Monday evening, as
my guesses for the weight of the fish were both exact the boys have not bet
far from mine!!

Last night we had 'a clear the fridge' supper, so there was a buffet style
layout in the galley of Thai chicken curry, coq au vin, ratatouille, rice,
new potatoes and pasta.

We actually caught a fish yesterday, the line ran but broke before we could
slow the yacht down and get it in. Another yacht which hadn't caught any
fish at all got some email advice from Jonathan and hooked a Tuna; as they
were hauling it in a shark came along and took it's tail!, don't fall in to
these waters.

Some of the ARC racing yachts are arriving in St. Lucia today.

All for now from the warm and wet Aqualunies.
