We are at last in the trade winds, with a better sea and hammering along at between 7.5 and 8.5 knots with about 15 - 17 knots of wind.
Lots of Dolphins again last night playing around the yacht, and something or a pod of something stayed under the yacht for about an hour during the night as the depth was reading 3 metres for quite a while; at times like that you pray it is not a whale.
During the check around the yacht this morning Allan found a clevis pin on the deck from the lower part of the vang where it fits into the mast. It was reinserted with a new split pin, lucky we didn't have the vang hitting the deck.
The (none) Fishing........Jonathan caught a Marlin and fought it for 50 mins' before it went under the yacht and broke the line.  I don't want him to catch Marlin, I want him to catch a good size Tuna or Dorado but they seem elusive. We were all looking forward to having fish for dinner tonight....
We have now put the clocks back an hour so we are now eight hours behind the UK.
We are catching up on our reading and I am also trying to sort photo's on my computer.
That is all the news for today; we are about 600 miles away from the nearest land and in the middle of a huge ocean.
