WINEGLASS BAY 22ND fEBRUARY, 2011

Sailed a little further up the coast to Wine Glass Bay, if you recall from a few blogs ago I took photo's of it from the walk we went on looking down on it.    We caught a tuna yesterday, at last, so fish for dinner last night on satay sticks with orange pieces marinated in soy sauce, orange juice, garlic, rosemary, lemon juice, cooked on the griddle (Jontahn hsan't got around to getting the BBQ out of the locker yet)  this time i served it with noodles with some of the heated up marinade on them and broccoli.  Before dinner we went for a lovely long walk along the beach.  After dinner we settled down to watch the first of the CDs of the 4th series of '24 Hours'  We restricted ourselves to watching just two hours of it, it is so addictive.

Another walk this morning through the bush/woods over the Isthmus to Hazards Beach.  Saw some parrots and other birds we did not know the name of.  Back to the yacht, up with the dingy and we are off again.  What wind there is is now on the nose and so is the current, upside is that we have an enormous smoooth swell but coming from the south so we are now slamming into any waves.  AND the Sun is shining!! Their was snow on Moutn Wellington above Hobart the day before yesterday, now the temp has gone back up again.

No photos at the moment as this is being sent from the yacht computer and not my Apple so not so easy to down load photos.

Bob and Phyllis are not too far from our minds and just hope and pray they come out of this unaharmed.  We have no idea why the owners of 'Quest' decided not to go with the Blue Water Rally through the pirated area between India and the Red Sea.  It would be one of our main reasons for joining the rally again other than the fun company and making some very good friends. The Blue Water Rally have a system set up, not known to us, to get the yachts through this area so far successfully.
