Just checking out of Musket Cove. Five days of a none sailing holiday and tons of fun and relaxation. Sailing off to Vanuatu this afternoon, will take two days. Winds predicted to be 25 - 30 knots from the S.E and sea rough. Most of the BWR fleet are leaving today, many of the slower yachts have just caught up.
Lots of pampering in the spa and hair cuts, first since January so my hair has gone from below the shoulder length back up to a shorter bob a very good HE/SHE hairdresser came over from the main island for the day to do our hair. All of us felt we deserved it after just about crossing the Pacific and now in the first more westernised country since doing so. Musket Cove could be anywhere in the world an island with three chalet hotel complexes on it and some lovely private villas at the end of the island. Have got up early 6-am every other morning to do a power walk around the island, good to use the legs again.
Off to Vanuatu by lunch time which will take about 2 days. Winds predicted to be about 25 - 30 knots from the SE but seas very rough.
Vanuatu has a very active volcano which we hope to visit if it is open, it was closed last month as it was erupting quite strongly.
