Still tracking along although not so fast overnight. The yacht kept wanting
to come up to windward and was slow; discovered when it was light and
Jonathan was resetting his fishing lines that we were towing a polypropyline
line with a fishing mark plastic 10 gallon drum on the end, it was wrapped
around the rudder. Lots of action on the aft deck whilst the boys tried to
release the line from the rudder, took quite awhile but eventually managed
to untangle it and retrieve both the line and drum so that it will not cause
more problems for other yachts. On the fishing side, a slight embaressment,
Jonathan having given a seminar in Las Palmas on the best way to fish has
not caught much yet; just a very small tuna. We talked about releasing it
but it was bleeding quite a bit so would not have survived so a meagre
amount of Sashumi with wasabi mustard and soysauce for lunch.

Talking of food, the carrots in the hammock above Love Love Allan's bunk
decided to start juciing themselves so he now has white sheets with orange
spots. The carrots were retrived and some made into a coleslaw and the rest
chopped up ready for a casserole and stowed in the fridge. The Dundee fruit
cake well soaked with whisky is going down a treat at tea time. Steak,
roasted veg' and new potatoes for dinner tonight. Now 11am and we have just
hoisted the Assymetric for the first time, loooking good with our Aqualuna
logo on it, now averageing 8-10 knots. 11.30am Oops just done a broach,
Asymetric ripped....won't repeat what J is saying, happened due to gust of
26knots. Signing out now from us all on board the good ship Aqualuna.
p.s. Just caught a 3lb Darado so comparative sashumi tasting for lunch.
