I prepared a picnic lunch to take over to the beach, just trying to remember the name, it is usually perfect but like so many beaches around the Caribbean at the moment it had loads of Sagaso weed on it, due to global warming. Nevertheless we had good fun, jumping the waves and drinking champagne. We also went to the Cotton House the day before for lunch at their beach cafe. The saddest thing about Mustique now is that they have locked down against yachties much more. We used to be able to rent a ‘Mule’ or mini move to explore the island and take our picnic across to the beach but now we have to rent a taxi as a French crew from a charter boat abused the freedom we had and drove down the private drive way of a villa and used their pool, the owner was in and they were caught, so Mustique security have clamped down against us all. We were able to rent a nuke last year as they knew us and trusted us but this year it was an overall ban due to the stupidity and trespass of that one boat.
