ANCIENT MILETUS on the RIVER MEANDER the photo of the area below was in the museum and was taken when there had been a lot of rain so some areas were flooded it was VERY dry when we visited so we were able to walk around un hindered apart from thorn bushes and undergrowth.  Visiting very early in the morning was lovely as there were no coach loads of people.
