Having said ‘Goodbye’ to Sam and Gilly we set off for the Grenadines again with Tess and Aines on board. Unfortunately the electronics on our engine were playing up setting off alarms all over the place so there was nothing for it but to sail. As we were against the wind and into a big swell we had to tack out and the back in again, it was not comfortable and poor Tess and Aines were both given a bucket as they were awfully sick. Once we got into calmer waters they were fine. After that we went to Union Island to watch the Rugby again, fortunately Tess loves Rugby, then on to The Grenadines where we snorkelled and walked, the wind was still quite strong pushing up the sand and making the water quite murky but we managed to see turtles and Sting Rays as well as some other fish. We saw wild tortoises on our walk but no Iquanas this time. The weather calmed down a bit when we got to Petit St. Vincent so ‘the girls’ had fun paddle boarding and having time out on their own. They both very kindly took us to dinner ashore at the beach cafe which was a lovely evening. We sailed back to Grenada with better winds and came into Port Louise again where we said ‘Goodbye’ to them the next day. Because of our electronic problems we more or less headed straight back to Antigua with just a night here and there. It was a jolly good sail though except where we lost some of the wind off Guadeloupe.
