THURSDAY, 12 AUGUST, 2010 LEAVING LOUGANVILLE.
We decided not to leave last night as we still had gale force winds.
It was pouring with rain most of the time so we ended up below decks watching a
film. I also cooked up some food for our sail across, e.g. venison
casserole, chicken curry etc.
Tried to weigh anchor at 8am but it was stuck solid under a rock.
Jonathan tried to free dive down to it by too deep at 13 meters. He went
ashore and found a diver who came out and released it for us for a few
dollars.
Now we are on our way, but NO wind which is annoying, hope we will find
some once we are well off the land. There is one other BWR yacht who left at the
same time an hour before us, Periguina, hopefully we will catch her up at the
moment she has 15 knots which would be perfect.
No more for now, we pass one reef at about 7 pm tonight.
