Last week was a week of 60th Birthday Celebrations in Sydney with old friends of both ours and the Crichton family joining in the fun.  I feel I have eaten and drunk champagne for England.  Now it seriously is a strict diet.

We are now back on the yacht in Hobart waiting for a part to arrive to do with our Satellite navigation.  It had to be sent away and should have been done by now but for some reason unknown to us the guy put on the note with it that we did not need it until the 21st..... Anyway it is supposed to have arrived on the overnight flight from Sydney and with luck we will get it soon.  We were hoping that we would set off by noon today to catch a weather window for sailing up the east coast of Tasmania and then crossing the Straights to gently potter up the east coast of Aus to Brisbane.  It looks more and more likely at this rate that we will not be gently pottering up the east coast of Aus as we have to be in Brisbane by the first week of March.  Very, very frustrating.
