Day 0 (6/7/25) - Final checks and waiting on weather / dinghy

After a long time in Parque Des Nacoes marina we are at last at the end of the boat repairs list, shake-down sails and provisioning ready to leave. A short wait on weather and attempts to repair the dinghy air mat (which blew out at the set 10psi - repair still to be cheked).

We have had a great time visiting cities around Lisbon, restuarants near Vasco de Gama and of course local bars alongside the marina.

A full haul out, re-gel-coated the hull and anti-fouled. Some rigging replaced and re-tensioned (fixing the genoa reefing issue) have occupied us on a various visits.

Passage planned for Puerto Jerez (Sherry) in the bay of Cadiz (a long term berth pre-arranged) in 7-8 days after stop-overs in Portugal en-route. 

Will post as signal allows near-shore stop overs.
