Morning weather forecasts were not encouraging for going back out and up to Southport again ... and it was bitterly cold! So, we weighed anchor, reserved a slip at the Georgetown Landing Marina and headed up the river. Took on diesel and tied up in the pouring rain! Afternoon clearing skies (almost) - so an explore of the local town and ante-bellium houses. A nice boardwalk along the rivers edge with bars and restaurants. Maybe better than Southport after all!
