A calm, clear day - Happy Valentines! Started with a (near) full English breakfast! Then a "ferry" over to the marina dock for Di to take on some sights in the old historic town - apparently the Spanish hospital museum was particularly gruesome - not for the faint hearted - even in the nurse's opinion!!
A day on the boat for me - looking at the exhaust elbow - which of course is on the inaccessible side of the engine. Struggling inside, clips undone - but would the hose come-off - no! A small 3' hose with a 90 degree bend - almost (if not totally) impossible to remove in-situ. Another solution will be needed. So, diesel and water tanks topped up whilst it is calm in the bay - expecting windy and stormy weather tomorrow.
Transom bbq lit, champagne uncorked as the sun set in a flame of colour over the town. Sadly, our shore-side friends had to cancel our evening meet and drinks - hoping to catch up another day before leaving. So, an episode of "Jeeves" finished off the evening on the boat.
