Finally to the job I had been avoiding - the head! Not clearing into the holding tank - despite all previous efforts of white vinegar, pipe cleaning etc. All dismantled - the joker valve looking a little deformed - could this be the problem? Press on and cleaned out the pipe - not a lot of crystals this time.. Tried flushing water from the holding tank into the inlet pipe but nothing passing through - so concluded there is a flapper valve into the tank - need to find out from a fellow Moody 41 owner! So, it looked like the wrong joker valve was the problem after re-assembly - flushing nicely!
Meanwhile Di went to a Bahamas briefing in the Clubhouse. Nota s we had thought a discussion on the recent devastation of the hurricanes / marinas open or close - more focused on custom clearance difficulties, provisioning and beer supplies! Nevertheless, some useful tips and pointers on where to go.
Less paperwork this afternoon, resting, a long walk, sundowners and backgammon followed by pizza and a movie (Master and Commander - of course) - what could be better!
