The Kinks: "Lazy Sunday Afternoon"....in paradise! That is after an energetic Sunday morning: a bike and a run to the Bimini Marina and Resort to investigate restaurants, pools, shops etc... Definitely a cruise ship destination - yes, an infinity pool (smaller and busier than Chub Cay), some nice shops, a very quiet marina and condos (some still under construction - phase 2 of course) - not at all in keeping with the rest of the island. In fact the bike and run through the small townships - greeting passer-by as the locals walked to Sunday morning church was most pleasant - real Island life! Then our lazy Sunday afternoon - "closed my eyes and drift away"....(the bottle of wine and smoked salmon for lunch helped). Needle fish in the bay. Calls and skype to home - all is well. A cool-off in the pool as the ice-cream van trundles by! Dinner out at the Bimini Big Game marina (just 100 yards along the quayside) rounded off the day "with no mind to worry"!!
