Happy Good Friday! Ready to set the boat up, check GRIB files and provision for a journey north - no saying where we will stop and leave the boat en-route this time..another adventure will begin!
But first - waiting on weather (although not ready to go).it's raining and no wind! Calls with family in England, paperwork and organizing down done below in the dry. Annoyingly a very slight leak from the coach-roof hatch - looks like more sealant when it is dry again.
As the day wore on the rain moved away, tender inflated a few provisions for the weekend, and a visit to West Marine (of course)! A last Clubhouse evening party to say a few goodbyes followed by a dockside BBQ and a "MidSommer" on Netflix!!
Although, not able to settle down to sleep until the source of incessant "tap, tap, tap" was found. Not the wind on the mast or burgee (as had been concluded last night) as the night was completely still. Was it an electrical short? All power off the boat . no still "tapping". More walks around the decks. odd it was not audible outside. Finally, we concluded it was either fish or crabs eating algae and knocking on the hull as it only happened at night and not all the time!! At last to sleep..
