The morning starts bright and sunny. Wind Grib files reviewed - still looking good for Thurs late in the day to exit Chesapeake Bay. Taping of potential chaff areas and a high anticipation of a new satellite phone to arrive via Fedex overnight. But first, a run through all the dry and tinned food provisions (thank s to Di) followed by a thorough visual in all the internal stowage and equipment compartments.

Then to the phone, arriving in a toughened bright orange case. Tested and connected to the satellite fine. Not receiving a signal from the ships antenna but the small mobile antennae that came with thr set sufficed. Then came the hard part - getting the PC to dial through the phone to the mailasail server. Technical support late in the UK day helped us get a little further in our quest! After much web searching and trying various PC setting options finally got through to send and receive a test e-mail . big relief!

Lunch saw the break out of the peanut butter for some of the crew!

Next task on the list - fresh food provisioning. A courtesy golf cart lift to the local Food Lion. A full shopping list (thanks yet again Di) sourced and back via Uber. Remarkably all stowed (refrigerated, frozen or in the ice coolers) .

Time to catch sundowners, left-over pizza and salad from yesterday and a Jeeves episode to round off the day (a taste of English humour)!

Departure day approaches..
