Dawn
broke with a clear blue sky, settled weather but no wind - looks like
another day in paradise! Deciding on a short bike/run to the Beach Club we had
passed yesterday we set off for a swim in clear waters, a leisurely walk along
the (once again) deserted beach (complete with our "Moody" bag from the Moody
Association) and then lunch at the Club - perfect. Although the run/bike
duo back to the marina was a little slower after two beers - we made
it!! Then an invite for dinner from our very friendly neighbours - joining
another couple for a grill-out (bbq) on their yacht "Independence" - all made
for a very pleasant evening's conversation, great food and good company! Ending
the day, pondering on when to leave (if we have to!) by watching the
weather window for the Gulf Stream crossing - we agreed to meet again on
"Independence" to listen to the morning forecast on SSB (Single Side
Band).
