26:22.5N 19:58.8W Monday first full day at sea - what could be
better, a cloudless night with every star imaginable above the tricolour. Trade
wind steady during the day (F4 ENE). Days run noon to noon 163 nm
(logged 184 nm) - The wind was very light during last night but picked up
nicely this morning and has been steady all day. Spent the afternoon
rigging the Amapir towed generator - launched at 17:30 - and generating
power for the batteries. We hope to maintain the power usage for the autopilot
and essential electonics with this. That's all for now - off to cook the dinner.
