The grey, slightly damp day began returning the hire car and a brief run in the misty morning along the beaches back to the boat. Then to the next job on the list (in fact a list getting substantially shorter), this time the starboard navigation light replacement. A job to separate the old casing, cut and solder the connections, check functioning and bolt to the stanchion (in between the rain storms). Fenders to clean and stow away. Jackstays to set, readying to leave - Friday a.m. to make the Cape Cod canal for an early evening tide set into the east entrance.
After a day of "hard" work(!), "the crew" caught an afternoon nap during another the rainstorms!!
Evening meal of Pad Thai shrimps (very tasty) and of course another Hornblower episode or two.!!
