Day 5 - Bahamas Cruising (North Cat Cay)

25:33.1N 79:17.1W
What
a difference a day makes ... and to the weather forecast as well (which was
thunderstorms starting yesterday and every day for 8 days)! The early morning
dawn brought clear blue skies and warm sunshine to our
anchorage. Another day to brown the wrists without a watch strap - who
needs time checks when in the Bahamas - we are all on "island Time" anyway!
Turtle heads popping up in the bay (unconfirmed), starfish to gaze
upon through the crystal clear waters as the boat seems to float on "air".
(Although when the anchor comes in sight it is mistaken for a small
shark...never-mind -w e are all keen spotters for the sightings competition
points! A few jobs on the boat done before the sun reaches its zenith and the
temperature soars to 94F (34C) in the shade! Our company leaves us under
sail - although no wind - and the evening sunset once again delights all.
