The night gave way to a cold looking dawn and yet more clouds on the horizon and no wind! At least the miles had slipped by - partly motoring, partly sailing, partly drifting with the Gulf Stream!
Then came the dolphins..jumping, splashing and leading the bow . inches in front, effortlessly keeping pace. Such a pleasure to share the ocean with these elegant and yet playful mammals. A giant turtle sighting, an osprey, jelly fish and small white fish fry all added to the morning pleasure as we glided over a smooth inky black sea.
The rain finally caught up with us - thankfully no storms, just a wetting as the afternoon slipped away to darkness once again.
