relatively busy night as super-yacht motor launches sped past en-route to
Daytona, Miami or the Keys.... Sunrise saw the dark night away as we approached
our Fort Pierce waypoint, turning into tnarrow channel, contending with
waves and swirling eddies before reaching the calm and safety of the
breakwaters. Passing white pelicans en-route. Marina approach was slow as we had
to "push" through the mud to get to our assigned dockage - not an issue but note
to the log "leave on high tide"!! What a place, bordered by mangrove bushes,
heated open air pool, lounge, dockside bar and restaurant - a must for tonight
after the business of arranging servicing and repairs with the full service
mechanics and electricians, Not sure how much we will get done in the
reserved two days but we plan to enjoy the blue skies, hot sunshine and friendly
marina to its best! Phil and Di
