Cast off at 11:00 – at last on the move again. A fresh breeze out on the Bay gave is the opportunity to shake out full main and genoa – quickly crossing the busy shipping lanes en-route to Cape Charles for our first night stop-over on the Chesapeake Bay cruise. Nice marina, friendly neighbours (more local suggestions), great marina restaurant rounded off a look at the town – the Main Street now somewhat run down but developments out towards King Creek are reviving the town.
