The grey dawn sky chases away the night's blackness. At last the sune rises, warming the damp decks for a misty start to the day.

But then - a sighting, and then another later - several black fins passed by the boat - not a mammal as a dolphin or whale - possibly back fin sharks. (Update (revision based on knowledge gained from locals) - most likely a "Sunfish" - the largest bone fish in the sea, several have been sighted in these waters.what a coup!

The day ebbs by, some sailing some motor-sailing, the miles slip by with only the occasional trawler sighted on the horizon Company is kept by numerous Storm-Petrels as they glide left and right over the smooth surface, eventually settling on the water.

The afternoon sky fills with mist to envelope us entirely in its thick, damp silence. No escaping the poor visibility. Fog horns at hand, the night approaches once again and the air grows cold. Wake trails of luminescence stretch astern like a trail of stars under the water. The wind strengthens, the sails fill as Magic Friday glides over the flat surface without a sight of vision in-front, to either side or astern.
