Monday morning dawns bright and clear.. ready to hoist the genoa and the jib.
The genoa went up smoothly but the jib halyard got badly twisted around the power winch - we forgot to set up the snatch block to lead the halyard onto the winch . no-one's fault but quite a tangle with blocks and secondary winches to untangled. Once done, jib set and furled.
An afternoon on work and paperwork, provisioning and settling in - ready to bbq as the sun sets and paints the sky oranges and reds over the marshes of Glen. Delightful!
