The following morning it was time to move on. A quick trip to the nearby shop for provisions and the fuel pontoon for diesel and by mid-morning we were off to Estonia.

  Goodbye to HSS and Helsinki

It was a grey cold day and we were passed by many ferries plying in both directions between Helsinki and Tallinn. The wind was light but we were able to motor-sail. As we approached Tallinn many yachts were coming out from the yacht club for their Wednesday evening race, which was a great sight.

The harbour, which had been built as the venue for the sailing events at the 1980 Olympics, hosted by Russia, had plenty of space, and we were soon able to tie up to the wall secured by a stern buoy.
