We are still sailing close hauled on starboard tack
with George at his best. The wind has teased us coming up under the clouds
backing and then veering again. Unfortunately it has always backed a little more
than it veered so our track is snaking north of the rhum line. High pressure is
now in charge 1030mb by our barometer and the wind very gradually dropping.
Still the miles are going by and soon we will be in motoring range, which is
just as well as the wind is predicted to be very light and what there is will be
from the East.
The highlights have been an excellent dinner with a
nice bottle of red last evening, sightings of turtles and flying fish this
morning and the baking of our first loaf of bread to have with
lunch.
