St. Georges, Grenada is less than 2 hours away now. Since yesterday
lunchtime the passage has been fairly uneventful. A few ships passed by on our
starboard side last night but at a good distance. One strobe light gave me some
concern and when it clearly was not giving way to me I thought I'd better tack
over but on close inspection it proved to be some sort of buoy, not on the chart
and in over 2000m of water. The wind has been up and down, but apart from being
a bit of a close reach, has been it's usual 15 to 25 Kts.
Wild life has been limited to flying fish, only one little one landed on
deck, and birds.
Food has been up to standard and now that we have both just finished lunch
and had showers things seem to be very pleasant.
The as yet unreported last week in Antigua and pics of Grenada to follow,
when we have wifi. |
