I'm still sitting on John's mooring in Sippican Harbour, Marion finding things to do while we wait for a deep low to come through tonight. By Saturday morning the strong Northeasters should be well out of the way so we intend to get going then.
The other two yachts waiting here, Silver Shoes, bound for Falmouth UK and Vivaldi bound for the Azores, have also postponed their departures until early Saturday. John and Jim are ashore getting all those jobs sorted that have not been done for the last couple of months but become imperative two days before you go away.
Chris Parker is telling Silver Shoes that he likes the weather window on Saturday so watch this space.
