Time for a barbecue

Our position is 60:13.500N 25:30.979E The next morning Kirsty and Tom went for a walk to the Iron Age hill fort – as expected it was just a grassy mound – and also called in at the shop to buy beer and barbecue supplies, which had been overlooked in the previous days provisioning. On their return we were off to an anchorage off the island of Granholmen, a recommendation from the Captains Mate app.
Once the 17m bridge had again been successfully negotiated we were able to sail to the isolated bay and eventually we got the anchor to hold on something. Kirsty decided that what was needed was a swim so she braved the cold water and swam to the island and back before heading off for a walk with Tom while the barbecue was readied.
Sailing along with turns at the helm
Kirsty goes for a swim – she did swim the whole way; the boat was a safety measure
The rocky beach proved to be quite overrun with ants, so we chose out seating positions carefully, but the fish purchased that morning and the Russian cheese proved delicious barbecue material and a great evening followed.
