Our next day’s sail started early in the hopes of getting some favourable tide for at least part of the journey. Once again the wind strength was variable and we were unable to sail as much as we would have liked. A friend had recommended Mystic as a nice place to visit, but when we finally got there we decided not to go all the way up the river, but instead to anchor off the monastery on Enders Island and spend a restful afternoon recovering from the early start and watching the boats coming and going around us.
