Our position is 43:32.81N 05:40.09W
Arrived Gijon at 10:15 LT. The delay
in sending this entry is down to the very bureaucratic check in and the
cooking and eating of a large fried brunch.
Yesterday was a splendid days sailing although
still largely close hauled. The night started well with light wind and an easy
close reach but deteriorated on Peters watch and we ended the night with small
headsail and double reefed main. Easy entrance to the port which was only
complicated by a large dredger which preformed pirouettes in front of us and
later the tightest of approaches to the pontoon birth, unidentifiable until
passed.
We are pleased to report that the boat and crew are
in good shape after quite a hard passage.
