We went to bed last night thinking we would be able to leave here by about mid day and do the relatively short run to Peck Lake in the afternoon, however after a rather late start to the day and time spent doing the laundry, joining towboat US (sort of AA for boats) and walking to West Marine for threadlock and epoxy, it was lunchtime and there was still plenty to do.  With time on our side we opted for another night in our sheltered slip (berth).
During the afternoon Kay went off to Publix (the nearest supermarket) which proved to be well stocked but certainly not near and I had another go at fixing our prop shaft problem. It had remained clamped but dabs of Kay's nail varnish had shown it to be slipping. The way forward seemed to be to drill and tap the clamp and shaft for a machine screw to prevent any rotation of the shaft in the clamp. Doing the job in situ proved difficult, but then so was lugging all the shopping back from the supermarket, so with jobs done we settled for a quick shower and a meal out.
The restaurant was chosen because it was nearest and not because it was a Mexican. However the food was tasty, the portions large, the service quick and the bill reasonable.

Not a very interesting day but a necessary one and we went to bed feeling we were now in good shape to start the next very different phase of our trip.
