We went to La Gomera as planned and returned
the following day to Las Galletas. A pleasant enough sail in moderate to slight
winds and bright sunshine. It had the desired effect of topping up our sea legs
etc.
Since then we have been engaged in copious shopping
for the voyage. It is absolutely amazing where it has all gone to - every nook
and cranny in the boat has some stores stowed in, tied to or suspended from
it.
The part for the watermaker has arrived by Fedex
and has been fitted and we are now, in all respects, ready for sea. By the time
the next diary entry appears we will be well on our way.
