Woke up to wind gusts of 35 knots and waves breaking over harbour wall . Had a ten minute walk into Cascais for coffee

and more provisions followed by pizza and salad (last of the big spenders) in shopping mall . Weather did not impove

until 17.00 hours when sun came out and wind speed reduced to 10 knots ,sea still rough.

 

After much deliberation the plan of action is to leave at first light tomorrow morning . Forecast is not great but we hope

to arrive Porto Santo early Friday morning .
