The final part of Bob and Joys plan was for me to sail with them to their home river, leave Moorglade at a friends dock and go on to stay with them in their home for a few days.
The Sail was very pleasant with a light wind from behind for the run up the bay. Bob flew Liberty's new asymmetric spinnaker so if Moorglade was not to be left behind I thought I had better put up the cruising chute. It gave us a good opportunity to take pictures of each others boats under coloured sails.
Once Moorglade was parked at Bob and Pat Sikora's dock I joined Liberty for the last mile or two passing under the road bridge to their secluded dock in Ice House Cove.
Thanks to Bob and Joys splendid hospitality I was able to catch up on laundry, take a trip to West Marine and the grocery store, not to mention swimming in their pool and lounging around on their veranda drinking beer.
There are three Wicomico Rivers on the Chesapeake, great, little and regular.
