More of the same today, beating in light winds of between 3 and 7 knots, and trying to tack on any perceived windshifts.

Last night, we crossed a shipping lane running east-west, and so more vigilance than normal was required.

Today, around lunchtime we had to resort to a couple of hours under engine, the wind just too light to sail.  But today has also seen the back of the grey skies of the last 2 days and the return of glorious sunshine.

We are now sailing close hauled on port tack, in about 10 knots from the north, and just about making the rhumb line to Vigo, 546 miles away.  That's less than a Fastnet.

Conditions and mood on board all good, though it looks like we may be a day or two longer than we initially planned.
