Well, we have had a couple of wonderful days'
sailing. The wind has been kind to us so far, in so far as it has been
essentially behind us, unlike the arduous trip into Horta.
Our first 24 hour run was of 148 miles and the
second was 159.
So we are cracking along. e forecast is for a big
change this evening, with winds going round to the north, so let's see if we
feel quite so chirpy tomorrow...but at the moment we are enjoying the
ride!
Each morning, we have seen the waterspouts of
whales a few hundred yards away, but as yet, no actual whales. This is probably
a good thing, apart from the obvious photo opportunity!
This afternoon, the sun has even come
out.
All well, and position as at 1500 UT
is;
41 58.300N 22
45.070W
