All well on board. Peaceful sailing last night, steady breeze with small waves. A joy after our Atlantic crossing to Bermuda.

The weather has been fine all day today and we have had sunshine for the best part of it. We are maintaining good speeds (between 6.5 and 7.5 knots) with wind speed staying around 15 knots from the south east.

Today we saw two or three huge water spouts (the largest we have ever seen) and hoped that we would finally get a glance of a large whale from a safe distance. Karen stood poised with camera but alas we did not get to see them as they moved further away from us. Perhaps they sensed that Nigel didn't want them to approach too closely! However we have seen plenty of dolphins today - always a joy.
