I didn't tell you about the leak, did I? We have been so triumphant about the bone dry Persephone that the little accumulation of water under the starboard aft cabin berth seemed not to matter. But yesterday, I was mopping it out with a sponge and decided to taste it (as you do). It was not just salty but super salty. That was the clue. Our water maker is in there. So we ran the water maker for a minute and, sure enough, there was a drip from the brine ejection pipe connection. A few minutes later (a nautical minute is approximately one hour, allowing for the tight spaces you are always working in on a boat) the pipe was refitted with some thread seal and tested... So hopefully we really are dry now.
The port saloon window is also leak free, repaired a couple of weeks ago
