A relatively uneventful night. Some banging of the sail on the rig but otherwise fine. The trinulations of full battens mean that they can invertin light wind and large sell. When they reform into the correct curve, the sail crashes into the rig. Down below, it can be alarming, as we sit inside our floating timpani drum. We continue on port gybe, which is marginally favourable just now. I hope the wind will start to swing round towards the north for the last 500 miles and that we can gybe on that for a fast finish.
 
Still dark, but starry, so today might be as hot as yesterday. 1040 miles to go!
