So we are lying at our anchor in a very tranquil spot in the harbour at Camarinas, enjoying a delicious supper...a roast chicken salad, after our humble starter of cerrano ham, juicy ripe fig and feta....washed down with a lovely bottle of the local white wine.

All well here on the good ship Persephone. Tomorrow we will round the cape at the western edge of the old world and start moving more resolutely south...

I think we are now settling into the pace of maritime life...nice and slow. If curiosity calls, follow the instinct to investigate.

The weather is fair and set so...winds are light....our iron donkey is bearing at least some of the load each day..
