The shift we had been waiting for arrived
last night and we were able to tack and head for our objective.
However,this didnt last long as the wind again veered and we had to tack back
early this morning - very frustrating.
The day continued with mixed fortunes in wind
strength and direction. It is currenly 22.30UTC and for the third time
today we have had to resort to using 'the iron donkey' as the breeze falls to
less than 7 knots.
On the plus side, we are just entered British
waters and we are now only 86 miles from the Scillies - hurray! We
plan to spend a few days there and rest before making the final leap towards
Hamble. We are planning to arrive in Hamble next weekend.

44.081W
All is well if not a little
chilly.
