12 January 2014 – Marigot Bay

It’s Sunday morning and departure is imminent – after 5 days in this idyllic spot!  We’ll be back….  Here is a final picture: one of the little ferries that zoom about taking people to and  from the marina to the beach, to the restaurants, etc, etc. 

The plan is to sail 10 miles down the coast to Anse La Raye, and from then on to Soufriere and the Pitons.  The whole area is part of the Soufriere Marine Management Area who regulate all diving, fishing and anchoring.  There are apparently buoys and snorkelling is permitted.  It would be good to find a dive centre to pick up the scuba skills again -  it’s not allowed to dive without a local professional.
