27 August - a day sail to Studland

Left Cherbourrg early this morning - off the outer harbour mole at
8am, and into Studland Bay by 6pm. More wind than expected - and by
the end of the journey we had to take a reef in the mainsail, as well
as the genoa/ But for most of the journey it was a lovely 3 sail beam
reach, in flat seas.
But there are more gales to come... and we exect to be storm bound
here for a day of so, making our way back to Gosport on Saturday... -
