A third day in Caraminal, but we still haven't seen much of the village.  It has been blowing old boots and pouring with rain.  Yesterday we went ashore just to go to the hotspot during a lull in the drownpour - full waterproofs, but still soaked through.

Overnight the weather goT even worse.  Real monsoon conditions: drumming down hard and noisily on the deck, stopping any thought of sleep.  The rain came through in pulses, slackening off for a while (whilst one heard the water draining out of the dinghy) before the next pulse came through.   Not surprisingly we were all drained this morning, with crews dividing into two halves - those that had slept, and those that had not.

The wind is expected to veer to the NE tomorrow, so we'll need to move to another anchorage, suitable for the new direction.  But if it then moves back to the South, I expect we'll be back!
