In case anyone is feeling sorry for us, this is the environment where we are doing our quarantine.  Desde came to see us this morning with another man, Tiger, and they moved us to a mooring closer to the shore.  The harbour is quite choppy at times and here should be better sheltered - though we do get wash from boats (and the occasional ferry) as they come and go to the jetties.  Even on a Sunday there is quite a bit of activity, though nothing like in normal times.

Boatmen have been visiting wanting to sell us fish, lobster, mangoes, banana bread, or whatever is available locally.  It seems we're not going to have to live off corned beef and ship's biscuits for the next two weeks.  They are used to having lots of charter boats visiting and are missing the custom.  Of course it all comes at a price and being unable to visit the ATM will put limits on our ability to prop up the local economy.

Facing south east Clifton harbour is protected from the Atlantic by a series of reefs to the East, with islets called Green Island and Happy Island, and the slightly larger Palm Island, the whole area providing a mecca for kite surfers (two visible in pic).  Two more distant Grenadines, Petit St Vincent and Petit Martinique, are more southerly, then tiny Pinese Island.  Carriacou is just out of the picture to the right.
