Liz and Lucy left us last Friday after only a few days on Winny. We sailed over to Musket Cove and picked up a mooring.

The plan had been to sail on to other islands, but it was so nice over there, and because of the news of the earthquake and tsunami, we decided to stay put.
Musket Cove provides barbeques for the yachties, you just order up the food you would like from the shop, collect it, lay your fire in the open grill, and hey presto you are cooking. All round a bar!
Though I think the high light for the two L's was playing in the kayak!

Since they left we have been getting on with the jobs, and preparing Winny for the passage to New Zealand.
The Duogen which had been ratteling along over the last few months has had a new alternator sent from the UK. Skipper finished changing them over today (it sounds smooth as silk, no more rumble through the starboard cabin) and we are looking forward to testing it out. So all we need now is some good winds and the crew who are due to arrive on Thursday.
